Today we watched a music video by the band One Republic called I lived. It was revolving around a 15 year old child named Bryan. He has the disorder Cystic Fibrosis. Which from my understanding is something that is passed down due to the conditions of your parents. What are the affects you say? One affect I remember is that they cannot breathe very well. So every day they have a treatment that is sort of like a nebuliser, and they wear a vest that shakes, so their lungs can clear out. When they try to exhale hardly, it can hurt them very bad. Every day they feel like they have a cold, or there is mucus in their throat. This does not sound pleasant at all to me, and I would not like to go through this. It isn't some highly contagious virus going around. It's something that passes down through a gene. If it was a virus I would quarantine myself for like 30 years until I was sure that I wouldn't catch it. Somehow Bryan was able to bike thousands of miles and raise 150,000.00 UKC ($300,000.00). This is very impressive in my opinion. Thank you for reading this, I was just writing about the video in the form of a post. This was not supposed to be entertaining what-so-ever. Goodbye!
